About us

Two golfers. One mission. Zero corporate nonsense.

Pink Soup Golf is a two-person operation that punches above its weight. We're small on purpose -- it means you deal directly with the people who run your event, not a call center or a sales team.

The back story

How a Lithuanian from Chicago started a golf company

Aiste grew up in Lithuania, then spent 20 years in Chicago. During those two decades, she watched golf operate in the American way: overbooked courses, overpriced everything, and the constant feeling that the sport was designed to keep people out rather than welcome them in.

When she came back to Lithuania, she discovered something that most people don't know: the golf here is genuinely world-class. Championship courses with nobody on them. Green fees that cost less than a dinner in London. Nature that makes you forget you're 45 minutes from an international airport.

The math was obvious. European companies spend a fortune on corporate golf in the UK, Spain, and Portugal -- fighting crowds, overpaying for mediocre service, and pretending the weather is fine when it isn't. Lithuania has better courses, better prices, no crowds, and (from May to September) genuinely good weather.

She teamed up with Donatas Gurnys -- a PGA coach with 20+ years of experience -- and Pink Soup Golf was born. The name? It's a nod to saltibarsciai, Lithuania's famous cold beet soup. It's pink. It's unexpected. And it's better than it sounds. Just like golfing in Lithuania.

The team

You'll work with us directly. Both of us.

No account managers. No sales reps. When you call, you get Aiste or Donatas. That's the whole company.

Aiste

Operations & client relationships

Twenty years in Chicago taught Aiste a few things: how to get things done, how to read a room, and how to deal with people who are used to everything running on time. She brought that energy back to Lithuania.

She's the one who handles logistics, client communication, vendor coordination, catering, transport, and everything that isn't golf instruction. If something needs fixing at 7am on event day, she's already fixed it at 6. She's the sassy fixer who makes the whole operation work.

She still keeps her US ties -- you can reach her on her American number at +1 (708) 691-0244 if that's easier for US-based clients.

Ask her about Lithuanian food and she'll talk for an hour. Ask her about event logistics and she'll just handle it.

Donatas Gurnys

PGA golf coach

Donatas is the golf brain. PGA-qualified, 20+ years of coaching experience, and the kind of teacher who can explain a swing fault in one sentence instead of twenty. He doesn't overcomplicate things.

He's coached complete beginners who'd never held a club and scratch golfers chasing marginal gains. The approach is the same either way: watch, identify the one thing that'll make the biggest difference, and fix it in plain English.

For corporate events, he's the secret weapon. He makes mixed-ability groups work -- the beginners feel welcome, the experienced players get something useful, and everyone has fun. That's a harder skill than most people realize.

He knows Capitals Golf Club hole by hole, shot by shot. He'll tell you where to aim, what club to use, and when to just enjoy the view instead of trying to hit a hero shot.

What we believe

Three things we won't compromise on

We actually play golf

We're not a generic events company that happens to offer golf. We play regularly. We know what makes a great golf day because we've had great golf days. And bad ones. That experience shows in the details.

Zero hassle for you

The whole point of hiring us is so you don't have to think about logistics. We coordinate every vendor, manage every timeline, and handle every curveball. Your only job on event day is being a good host.

Personal service, always

We're two people. That means you get our personal attention, our personal phone numbers, and our personal guarantee that your event will be handled properly. We don't scale by hiring strangers. We scale by being very good at what we do.

Don't let the size fool you

We're small. Our events aren't.

People sometimes hear "two-person team" and wonder if we can handle 30 people and a full tournament. Short answer: yes. We've done it plenty of times.

Here's the thing: we don't do everything ourselves. We have a network of local partners -- caterers, transport companies, photographers, musicians -- that we've worked with for years. We know who's reliable and who isn't. We handle the planning and coordination. They handle execution. It works.

The advantage of being small is that you deal directly with the decision-makers. No telephone game. No "I'll check with my manager." If you call Aiste at 9pm with a last-minute change, she'll handle it. That kind of responsiveness is hard to get from bigger companies.

Our home course

Capitals Golf Club

Our events are based at Capitals Golf Club in Elektrenai -- halfway between Vilnius and Kaunas, about 45 minutes from either city. It's Lithuania's first 18-hole championship course, and it sits inside a Natura 2000 protected nature reserve.

The course covers 140 hectares of morainic landscape: rolling hills, ancient forests, and water features that feel more like Scotland than the Baltics. It was voted best new international golf project by US GOLF INK when it opened.

Facilities include a clubhouse with a restaurant, pro shop, practice range, putting greens, and function rooms for private dining and events. It's the kind of venue that impresses people who've played golf all over Europe.
