Finland to Lithuania
Finnish corporate golf trips don't need to cost Finnish prices
Helsinki to Vilnius. 1 hour and 15 minutes. Finnair, multiple times a day. You land, we pick you up, and by lunchtime you're standing on the first tee of a 140-hectare championship course inside a nature reserve. Your finance team won't believe the invoice.

The Finnish perspective
You already know the Baltics. Lithuania is the part you're missing.
Finnish companies have been doing business across the Baltic states for decades. Tallinn is practically a Helsinki suburb at this point. But when it comes to corporate golf, most Finnish groups default to Estonia or stay domestic -- and both options have their problems.
Golf in Finland is expensive. A summer round at a top course near Helsinki can easily run EUR 100-150, and the season is brutally short. Estonian courses are closer and cheaper, but they're limited -- the country simply doesn't have the same quality of championship-level courses that Lithuania offers.
Lithuania changes the equation entirely. Capitals Golf Club is an 18-hole championship course spread across 140 hectares of Natura 2000 protected landscape. Morainic hills, ancient forests, real wildlife. The green fee is EUR 65. For a full corporate event -- coaching, catering, prizes, transport, coordination -- you're looking at a fraction of what the same experience costs at home.
And the flight from Helsinki? Shorter than driving to Turku. Finnair runs the route multiple times daily. Morning departure, afternoon tee time. You could even make it a day trip, though we'd strongly suggest staying overnight. The food and the Old Town in Vilnius are worth the extra night alone.

Finnish prices based on Helsinki-area courses and hotels. Lithuanian prices reflect Vilnius/Kaunas rates.
Nordic meets Baltic
A business culture Finns actually understand
Lithuanians are direct, practical, and don't waste your time with small talk. Sound familiar? The Nordic-Baltic business corridor is well-established, and Finnish companies doing business here find the culture straightforward. People show up on time, say what they mean, and get things done.
English everywhere
Lithuania ranks among the top EU countries for English proficiency. Your group won't face any language barriers at the course, hotels, or restaurants. Everyone from the coaching staff to the waiters speaks English.
Euro zone
Lithuania uses the Euro, so there's zero currency hassle. Prices are transparent, expense reports are simple, and your finance team doesn't need to deal with exchange rates. Same currency, very different prices.
The sauna question
Finns need saunas; we understand. Lithuanian hotels and spas have excellent sauna facilities. We can include a post-golf sauna session in your package. Different wood, same sweat.
The honest comparison
Estonia is convenient. Lithuania is the upgrade.
We know many Finnish corporate golf groups head to Estonia. It makes sense -- Tallinn is a 90-minute ferry ride or a 35-minute flight. It's practically next door, and the courses are fine for a casual round.
But if you're organising a proper corporate event -- something that's supposed to impress clients or reward a team -- Lithuania offers a noticeably higher standard. Capitals Golf Club is a full 18-hole championship layout, designed to international standards, sitting in genuinely spectacular natural surroundings. The supporting infrastructure (clubhouse, catering, coaching) is built for corporate events, not bolted on as an afterthought.
The flight is only 40 minutes longer than getting to Tallinn by air. And once you factor in the quality difference, the extra flight time pays for itself in the experience you deliver to your guests. When your managing director asks "where are we going this year?" -- Lithuania is the answer that gets people excited.
Plus, Vilnius is a genuinely interesting city. The Old Town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The restaurants are excellent and absurdly affordable by Finnish standards. Your group gets a real destination experience, not just another round of golf.
